Integrative Psychotherapist, Trauma Specialist & Clinical Supervisor
"Beyond the words we find difficult to speak, there is a space where healing begins. My practice is dedicated to providing that space—one of profound empathy, radical kindness, and clinical safety."
With many years of post-graduate experience, I am a highly qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor specializing in the complex intersections of trauma, identity, and early childhood development. My work is rooted in the belief that no matter how fragmented a person’s experience may feel, there is always a path back to wholeness through a compassionate, therapeutic relationship.
Expertise in Trauma & Recovery
My advanced clinical training focuses on supporting survivors of rape and sexual trauma, as well as those navigating the long-term impact of childhood emotional and sexual abuse. I have extensive experience working with dissociative disorders (including DID), helping clients safely explore and process experiences that often feel beyond reach.
I utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities to ensure safety and stabilization, including:
-
Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET): To help weave difficult memories into a coherent and reclaimed life story.
-
Energy Focused Therapy (EFT): To address the somatic and energetic imprints of trauma.
-
Attachment-Informed Care: To repair the foundational bonds that influence how we relate to ourselves and others.
Early Childhood & Youth (Ages 4+)
I am deeply passionate about early intervention and hold a Level 6 Certificate in Counselling Children and Young People. I understand that for a child, play is their first language and their most vital tool for healing. By integrating Play Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy, I provide a creative sanctuary where young children can externalize their inner worlds, process grief, and build resilience without the pressure of "adult" conversation.
An Integrative Approach
My practice is truly integrative, meaning I draw from a wide-ranging toolkit to meet your specific needs. This includes Mindfulness and Meditation (for both adults and children) to foster grounding, and Grief and Bereavement support to navigate the complexities of loss.
Clinical Supervision
As a Level 6 qualified Clinical Supervisor, I am dedicated to the growth of the profession. I provide a supportive, reflective space for other practitioners to explore their clinical work, ensuring the highest standards of care and ethical practice.
I have also completed an online course on How to Provide Counselling online: a coronavirus primer. The course was jointly developed by the Open University and the BACP as a response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
I am a current registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and I subscribe to the BACP code of ethics for my professional practice. I also maintain ongoing professional training. I am also registered with The Counselling Directory covering Farnham and surrounding areas and the ICO Data Protection Register.
